WITCH HOUSE

You may have heard of witch house as drag house or haunted house. This genre is part of the house genre, which is part of the electronic and EDM genres.
Witch House first appeared in the late 2000s and could best be described as a dark/obscure house. It uses elements of chopped and screwed hip-hop (a technique for mixing hip-hop invented in the 90s), dark ambiant, industrial music, experimental music, and 90s music in general.
As you have probably guessed, the aesthetic generally has a "witchy" vibe, using many witchcraft elements and symbols from different cultures and beliefs.
