NO WAVE

No Wave appeared in the late 1970s, as a reaction to New Wave, essentially to mock it.
It usually revolves around dissonant and noisy sounds, incorporates a lot of improvisation, rejects the use of the verse/chorus form, and therefore has no particular structure.
No Wave has a lot of punk-like values, is at times close to minimalism, but is difficult to describe due to its willingness to be indescribable.
